Orbital Horizons, a private aerospace venture, recently concluded comprehensive ground integration tests for its inaugural Aether Station module. The Aether Station, designed as a modular habitat, aims to redefine commercial operations in space. Each cylindrical module measures 15 meters in length and 4 meters in diameter, engineered to comfortably accommodate a crew of four. Scheduled for its maiden launch in late 2026, the first module will orbit at an altitude of 400 kilometers.
